KORT Georgetown is conveniently located on Highway 460 (Paris Pike), just north of the intersection with Highway 62 and directly across from Southern States. Our therapists treat a wide range of neurological and orthopedic diagnoses with advanced clinical training and competencies in treatment of orthopedic conditions. We work closely with referring physicians from Georgetown, Lexington and neighboring communities to provide the most current and comprehensive physical therapy available. We are the only clinic in Georgetown with an aquatic therapy pool. In many cases, aquatic therapy in the acute stage of rehabilitation can be initiated earlier than land-based therapy and can accelerate the healing process and recovery time for patients.
Chad Thompson, PT, OCS is our physical therapist and clinic director. Chad’s experience and expertise has enabled him to be certified as an Orthopaedic Certified Specialist (OCS) by The American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. In addition to her training as a physical therapist, Janette Graham, PT, is also a certified Pilates practitioner. Chad and Janette are skilled certified practitioners of ASTYM (Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization)—a technique that stimulates the body’s own capacity for healing in patients with soft tissue degeneration, scarring/fibrosis or chronic tendonitis.
