Welcome to KORT Bardstown!

KORT Bardstown is a 6,500 square foot outpatient facility in historic Nelson County providing physical, occupational, speech and massage therapy services. We specialize in orthopedic conditions, hand therapy, lymphedema, wound care management, industrial rehab, sports medicine, and aquatic therapy. We are the official sports medicine provider for St. Catharine College in Springfield.

Angela "Angie" Taylor OTR/L,CHT is the clinic director and is a Board Certified Hand Therapist by the Hand Therapy Commission. In practice since 1995, she is experienced in treating conditions related to shoulder to hand conditions. Angie is certified in Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization (ASTYM), Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs), and Post-Offer Employment Testing (POET). Angie has a Bachelor's degree in Health Science in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University and is working on her Master's in Health and Sciences from the University of Indianapolis, IN.
Hannah Arms PT, MS is a 2003 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Master's degree in physical therapy and Bachelor's of Health Science. Hannah has extensive experience treating a multitude of orthopedic and neurological conditions. Hannah is certified to perform Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization (ASTYM) while providing expert care to patients of all ages.
Melanie Brewer PT, DPT earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2008 and earned a Bachelor's of Science in Physical Therapy from Indiana University in 1999. Melanie is a certified lymphedema therapist. She is experienced in treating the spine and other orthopaedic conditions.
Jennifer Hayden PT, DPT is a native of Bardstown. Jennifer completed her Doctorate in Physical therapy from Regis University in 2008. She joined our team in 2003 after graduating with her Master's of Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky. She received her undergraduate diploma in Exercise Science/Sports Medicine from Campbellsville University. In addition, Jennifer is a Certified Athletic Trainer. She has provided sports medicine coverage for area high schools. She enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions especially pediatric and sports related.
Nikki Gee PT, DPT, earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Bellarmine University. Nikki enjoys game nights with friends and family, likes watching the Colts, and college and professional softball.
Verneasa Hendricks PTA, WCC is a 1991 graduate of Somerset Community College with an associate degree in Applied Science. Verneasa is a certified Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization (ASTYM) provider and is a certified wound care provider by the National Alliance of Wound Care. Verneasa enjoys seeing all patient types but is passionate working with amputee patients.
Kalen M. Morgan OTR/L, CHT, graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2004 with a Bachelor's of Health Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. Kalen earned her Masters of Health Science from the University of Indianapolis in 2011. She is a Certified Hand Therapist and specializes in treating orthopedic conditions of the upper extremity with an emphasis on hand therapy as well as providing Industrial Rehabilitation Services (including prevention and ergonomic training, job-site analysis, and prework/preplacement screening).
Maria Rigor PTA is a 2009 graduate of Jefferson Community College with her Physical Therapist Assistant degree. She joined our KORT team in 2009. Maria enjoys spending time with family, especially playing golf with her husband.
