KORT Brandenburg is conveniently located across from the Meade County Fairgrounds, directly behind Brandenburg Family Medicine. We treat a wide variety of injuries and conditions including orthopedic surgeries, auto accidents, workers' comp, general weakness, fibromyalgia, and arthritis. In addition, we offer aquatic therapy in our heated indoor therapy pool. Our pediatrics program is designed for children needing treatment for torticollis, cerebral palsy, motor coordination, dyspraxia, orthopedic issues and many other conditions. We take pride in accommodating patient's hectic schedules, and offer Saturday appointments if needed. Our motto is: "We make therapy fun!"

 

Kim Devries PT graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1992 and has experience as a physical therapist in a variety of settings. She is a certified ASTYM provider. She and her husband, John, have four children and are very active in their hometown of Brandenburg. An avid runner, Kim enjoys promoting healthy lifestyles, and helping her patients return to their highest level of health and ability.
Meg King PT graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1991 and has had several years of experience as a physical therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting. She and her husband, Kyle, have four children and are very active in her hometown of Brandenburg. Meg runs the summer swim camp at Doe Valley and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Meade Activity Center.
Shannon Burke PTA graduated from Jefferson Community College in 2007. Shannon enjoys working with a variety of ages and has experience in long term care facilities and outpatient orthopedics. She is ASTYM certified and is an APTA-certified Clinical Instructor. Shannon loves spending time with her husband, Pat, and two dogs, George and Tazz. They enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, running, and orienteering. Her very long term goal is to run a 100 mile ultra run and complete an Ironman.
Danyelle Purvis PTA graduated in 2007 from Jefferson Community College. Danyelle is ASTYM certified and has experience with outpatient orthopedics as well as inpatient neurological rehab experience with stroke, brain injury and pediatrics. Danyelle enjoys working with all patients – from infant to geriatric. Danyelle loves outdoor activities such as: canoe/kayaking, hiking, biking, and camping with her husband and children.
