KORT Georgetown is conveniently located on Highway 460 (Paris Pike), just north of the intersection with Highway 62 and directly across from Southern States. Our therapists have advanced clinical training and treat a wide range of neurological and orthopedic diagnoses with evidence-based treatments. We work closely with area physicians to provide you with the most current and comprehensive physical therapy available.

We're the exclusive sports medicine and physical therapy provider to Georgetown College. In addition, we are the only clinic in Georgetown with an onsite pool for aquatic therapy. In many cases, aquatic therapy can begin earlier than land-based therapy and can accelerate the healing process and recovery time for patients.

Chad Thompson PT, DPT, OCS earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from Regis University in 2009. Chad is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) by The American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. In addition, he is also certified to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE) helping clients in establishing their return to work capabilities. Chad is a certified ASTYM (Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization) provider. ASTYM is a technique that stimulates the body's own capacity for healing in patients with soft tissue degeneration, scarring/fibrosis or chronic tendonitis. In practice since 1989, Chad serves as clinic director. He enjoys treating a variety of operative and non-operative orthopedic conditions. Chad is a resident of Georgetown and is a member of the Chamber of Commerce. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting and fishing.
Crystal Joice PT, DPT graduated from Bellarmine University in 2008 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy after earning a Bachelor's degree in Health Science and a minor in Biology. Her interests include aquatic therapy, sports medicine, and orthopedic injuries. Crystal joined our team at KORT in 2009.
Stephanie Darnell PT joined our team in 2010. She enjoys working one on one with patients to get them back to the things they enjoy doing. She is passionate about orthopedic conditions and vestibular rehab.
Jared Clark PTA graduated from Paducah Community College with a degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). His interests include outpatient physical therapy, sports medicine, and aquatic therapy.
