KORT Shively Physical Therapy is conveniently located in the Shively Center (the old Dillard's/Bacons's building), south of the intersection of Dixie Highway and the Watterson Expressway (I-264). Our therapists treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions including work injuries, auto accident injuries, sports injuries, back and neck pain, arthritis, pre and post surgical rehab, and other conditions. In addition, a wide range of industrial medicine services are offered, as well as anodyne therapy for diabetic neuropathy. We provide a friendly, fun environment, focused on returning you to your normal activity level. We look forward to assisting you with your recovery.

 

Kristin Oliverio PT, DPT is the clinic director and joined our KORT team in 2005. She earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2007 and a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky in 2005. Kristin is certified to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs), post-offer employment tests (POET) through AEI, and Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization (ASTYM). Kristin specializes in treating orthopedic and sports medicine injuries.
Amy Wells PT, DPT earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Bellarmine University in 2004 after graduating from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine in 2002. Amy is certified to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs), post-offer employment tests (POET) through AEI, and Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization (ASTYM). Her clinical interests are primarily in orthopedic and sports medicine injuries. Amy joined our KORT team in 2004.
Melinda "Mindy" Hayes PT, DPT received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Bellarmine University in 2008 after completing a Bachelors in Health Sciences in 2007. Mindy has special clinical interests in the treatment of lower extremity orthopedic injuries as well as sports medicine. She joined our KORT team in 2009.
Amy Lynch PT, DPT received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Bellarmine University in 2009 after completing a Bachelors of Science from Murray State University in 2005. Amy has special clinical interest primarily in orthopedic and sports medicine related injuries, as well as working with geriatric patients.
Kim Holmes PTA has over 25 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Jefferson Community College in 1981. She joined the KORT team in 2003 after working for over 20 years at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital. Kim is a certified Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization (ASTYM) provider.
