KORT Shively Physical Therapy is conveniently located in the Shively Center (the old Dillard's/Bacons's building), south of the intersection of Dixie Highway and the Watterson Expressway (I-264). Our therapists treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions including work injuries, auto accident injuries, sports injuries, back and neck pain, arthritis, pre and post surgical rehab, and other conditions. In addition, a wide range of industrial medicine services are offered, as well as anodyne therapy for diabetic neuropathy. |Kristin Oliverio PT, DPT, is the clinic director and joined our KORT team in 2005. She earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2007 and a master's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky in 2005. Kristin is certified to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs), post-offer employment tests (POET) through AEI, and Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). Kristin specializes in treating orthopedic and sports medicine injuries.|
|Amy Lynch PT, DPT, is the Assistant Clinic Director at KORT Shively. In 2005, she received a Bachelor of Science from Murray State University and achieved a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Bellarmine University in 2009. Amy joined the KORT Team in 2005 as a PT technician and continued in 2010 as a licensed physical therapist. Amy has special clinical interests primarily in orthopedic and sports medicine-related injuries.|
|Emily Petro PT, DPT, received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky in 2011 after graduating with her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2008, also from the University of Kentucky. Emily is originally a native of Louisville but lived up north in New Jersey for two ½ years and recently moved back to Louisville. She joined the KORT team to pursue her interests in orthopedic, work related and sports related injuries as well as assisting with fall prevention.|
|Kim Holmes PTA, has over 25 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Jefferson Community College in 1981. She joined the KORT team in 2003 after working for over 20 years at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital. Kim is a certified IASTM provider.|
|Rachel Krebs PTA, is a 2008 graduate from Bellarmine University with a BA in Psychology. She continued her education and received her associate's in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Jefferson Community and Technical College in 2011. She possesses many interests clinically, specifically orthopedics, pediatrics, and sports-related injuries. Rachel has also been certified to perform Functional Movement Screens.|
