Tricia S. Brown PT, OCS, STC is the clinic director and has been a physical therapist since 1999. A graduate of East Tennessee State University, she has worked primarily in outpatient orthopedics but also has experience in inpatient settings, home health care and nursing home care. She received her Sports Therapy Certification (STC) from The University of St. Augustine in 2006 and her Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) certification in 2010. She has special interests in sports-specific care and rehabilitation, general orthopedics, manual therapy, and the treatment of cervical pain and headaches.
Matt Hall PT, OCS is a graduate of Transylvania University and the University of Kentucky. A board certified specialist (OCS), he is a member of both the Kentucky and the American Physical Therapy Associations. He has been a practicing physical therapist since 1995 and has experience in both inpatient and outpatient facilities. Matt's areas of professional interest include general orthopedics, industrial/workplace preventative and rehab services, and foot orthotics to correct mechanical gait deviations.
Ashley Safie PTA is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). In 2000, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Athletic Training from Asbury College. In 2006, she graduated from Jefferson Community College's Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associate of Applied Science degree. She has experience in acute care, stroke/brain injury rehab, and outpatient rehabilitation.
Whitney McGuffey, PT, DPT is a 2011 graduate from the University of Kentucky. Originally from Hodgenville, KY, Whitney came to Lexington for undergraduate school in 2004. Whitney’s clinical interests include general orthopedics, lymphedema treatment, wound care, and manual therapy. Whitney enjoys singing, dancing, painting, yoga, and UK Basketball. She is looking forward to working with the team at KORT Tates Creek Clinic and making a difference in the lives of her patients.
