About

KORT Kids-Middletown offers high quality pediatric occupational, physical and speech therapy services provided by well-trained therapists. As part of this mission, we offer resources, education, support and encouragement to parents and families. Our state-of-the-art facility features a large selection of therapeutic equipment to help each child meet their goals.

Our therapists specialize in evaluating and treating:

  • Sensory processing disorders
  • Sensory-based feeding
  • Speech and language disorders
  • Gross and fine motor delays
  • Motor planning problems
  • Coordination and balance problems
  • Neurological disorders like cerebral palsy
  • Chromosomal disorders such as Down syndrome

Each child requires a full evaluation in order to initiate therapy services. Our objective is to develop a child-centered, family-focused treatment plan. We conduct therapy sessions in a modern environment using specialized equipment. Our therapists use play-based activities to create a 'just right' challenge for each child.

Success Stories

Caleb Joice

Caleb Joice needed help with his vestibular system and motor planning. He is a bright, active little kid who needed to calm his body at certain times such as at school or during social interactions. Through his journey with occupational therapy at KORT Kids Middletown, an improvement with concentration and behavior at school and home became apparent to his family. He was able to have better conversations and be calmer in situations that needed it. "Caleb has made great strides," his mom said. "His therapist Michelle Converse was fantastic." We are happy to hear about Caleb's success. Thank you for choosing us on your rehabilitation journey.
