KORT Nicholasville is conveniently located at the intersection of S. Main Street and Williams Road. We're only minutes from downtown Nicholasville. We offer orthopedic physical therapy with a strong emphasis on hands-on care, functional activity restoration and individualized treatment.

We are pleased to offer patients access to our specialized CoreVia Pelvic Health program. CoreVia provides care - and relief - to men, women and children who experience pelvic floor dysfunction. Our highly skilled pelvic health physical therapists will help you feel your best.

Our proven techniques benefit a wide range of individuals suffering from injuries or pain associated with work, auto accident, back and neck, or peripheral joint problems (involving the shoulder, elbow, hand, hip, knee, foot and ankle), dizziness and sports injuries. Specialty services offered include Recovery and Reconditioning, vestibular rehabilitation, ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation and dry needling.

Our Team

Matt Lee, P.T., DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, Market Manager

Matt joined our KORT team in 2003. He is from Dayton, OH and holds degrees in physical therapy from the University of Evansville and Regis University. He completed a clinical fellowship from Kaiser Permanente Northern California Fellowship in manual physical therapy and was board certified in orthopedics in 2004. His clinical and research interests are in manual therapy, clinical decision making and residency/fellowship education. He enjoys travelling with his wife, spending time with friends and family and cycling.

Tara Buckles, P.T., DPT, Clinic Director

Tara is from Louisville. She earned a bachelor's degree in biology in 2015 and doctorate of physical therapy in 2018 from the University of Kentucky. Her clinical interests include orthopedic and pelvic floor rehabilitation. She enjoys a good cup of coffee, long walks in nature with her husband and cheering for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Katie Filiatreau, P.T., DPT, OCS

Katie is originally from Fredericktown, KY, and completed her undergraduate degree in exercise science at Georgetown College in 2009. She attended the University of Kentucky and obtained a doctorate in physical therapy in August 2012. Her clinical interests are orthopedic and sports physical therapy, as well as manual therapy. She enjoys playing sports recreationally and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Matt Fitch, P.T., DPT, OCS

Matt graduated from the University of Kentucky with a doctorate of physical therapy. He earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Morehead State University. Matt has clinical interests in orthopedic clinical conditions, sports rehabilitation, hands-on therapy and neurologic conditions. He has a passion for helping others achieve their goals following life-changing injuries with the ultimate goal of returning to what they love. Matt enjoys bowling, fishing, golfing, spending time with family and watching his nieces and nephews play sports.

Spencer Cowen, P.T., DPT, OCS

Spencer is a native of Lexington. He graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and from the Medical University of South Carolina with a doctorate of physical therapy in 2021. He completed an orthopedic residency at Mercer in Atlanta. Spencer enjoys hiking with his wife and dogs, fishing, reading, cooking and watching UK basketball and football.

Allison Marsh, P.T., DPT

Allison is originally from Lexington, KY. She earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology exercise science in 2019 from the University of Kentucky and doctorate of physical therapy in 2022 from Western Kentucky University. Her clinical interests include orthopedic rehabilitation, hands-on therapy and pelvic floor therapy. She enjoys iced coffee, taking her Aussiedoodle on walks, cheering on the CATS and reading a good book.

Adam Swink, P.T., DPT

Adam is originally from North Carolina, but was raised in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He received a bachelor's degree in kinesiology in 2018 and doctorate of physical therapy in 2022 from the University of Kentucky. Adam believes in promoting a healthy and balanced lifestyle tailored to each individual, and loves helping people achieve their goals through physical therapy. He enjoys reading about a variety of topics, powerlifting, Brazilian Ju Jitsu and time with family and friends.

Kobie Hoover, P.T., DPT

Kobie is originally from Winchester, IL. He graduated from St. Ambrose University with a degree in exercise science and human performance and fitness. He also played football during his time at St. Ambrose University. Kobie received a doctorate of physical therapy from Bellarmine University in May 2023. His clinical interest include orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. He enjoys playing golf, playing basketball at LAC and hanging out with friends.
