    KORT Physical Therapy Richmond is conveniently located at 5006 Atwood Drive, Suite 2 (on the Robert R.Martin By-Pass across from Toyota South). With a long-standing reputation for being the premier sports medicine rehab facility in the area, we also offer a wide variety of rehab and preventative therapy services including neck and back pain, work related injuries, Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs), work conditioning, post-operative conditioning, and other musculoskeletal conditions. We provide a friendly, fun environment focused on returning you quickly to the activity level you wish to attain.

    Liz Ellis, PT, DPT
    Liz Ellis
    Clinic Director, Liz, graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2011. Liz has a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences. Her clinical interests include sports rehab, manual therapy, pediatrics, and orthopedic conditions. She also enjoys treating and helping patients who have been involved in motor vehicle or workplace injuries. When she’s not working, she enjoys cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats, going to Keeneland, and spending time with her family and their two dogs.
    Karen Clark, PT, DPT, OCS
    Karen Clark
    Karen, a 2000 graduate from the University of Kentucky. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2013. Karen is also a board-certified orthopedic specialist in physical therapy (OCS). Her interests include orthopedics, sports medicine, manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation for dizziness and balance issues as well as working with injured workers and the prevention of workplace injuries. Karen has been a resident of Madison County since 2001 and has been with KORT in Richmond since 2002.
    Daniel Cayse, PT, DPT, OCS
    Daniel Cayse
    Daniel is a 2011 graduate from the University of Kentucky. Daniel has a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. His clinical interests include orthopedics, hand therapy, and sports injuries, particularly of the knee and shoulder. He is a member of the Orthopedic and Hand Rehabilitation Sections of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). He is also a Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). A native of Villa Hills, in northern Kentucky, Daniel is looking forward to providing high quality physical therapy care to the Richmond community.
    John Wright Polk IV, PT, DPT
    John Wright Polk IV
    John is a 2014 graduate from the University of Kentucky. He has a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Western Kentucky University in 2011. His clinical interests include sports rehab, orthopedics, manual therapy, rehabilitation of amputees with prosthetic limbs, and working with patients with neurological conditions. He also has previous experience with and thoroughly enjoys treating disorders of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. He is a member of the Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy Section the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). John Wright enjoys serving at his church, supporting the Kentucky Wildcats, and spending as much time outside as possible when he is not working.
    Amy Thoroughman, PT, DPT
    Amy Thoroughman
    Amy is a 2007 graduate of the University of Kentucky and is originally from Lewis County, Kentucky. She received her undergraduate training from Morehead State University with focus in Biology/Exercise Science/Kinesiology. She enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions with a special emphasis on manual therapy, functional movement patterns, and sports rehabilitation. She also has some experience in treating vestibular conditions. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 daughters and family dog.
