KORT Sports Medicine Boot Camp
Football coaches get refresher course on life-saving topics
KORT's Sports Medicine Boot Camp was featured on WAVE3 in Louisville. Sports Medicine Director Doug Means explained the role of the athletic trainer in ensuring player safety during practices and games.
The Boot Camp was held at Trinity High School for coaches, KORT physical therapists, and athletic trainers. Topics included preventing heat-related illness, injury management, and ensuring proper hydration.
