What to Expect

Your first appointment will include a comprehensive evaluation your licensed therapist. Your evaluation will include questions regarding the history of your problem and other medical problems. In addition, your therapist will take measurements of your motion, strength, function and conditioning. This information will help your therapist create a treatment plan for your condition.

While your first appointment may last up to 90 minutes, your follow up visits will likely be between 30 and 60 minutes long.

For your first appointment, you should:

  • Be sure to download our New Patient Forms and bring your completed forms with you to your first appointment
  • Arrive 20 minutes early to fill out a questionnaire about your condition
  • Wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing you can exercise in
  • Wear loose-fitting shorts if therapy involves your legs
What to Expect

Please bring with you:

  • Your doctor's prescription and any notes from your doctor (if applicable)
  • Your insurance cards or workers’ compensation case information
  • Your x-rays or other test results
  • A list of any medications that you are currently taking
  • Braces or prosthesis (if applicable)

For follow-up appointments, you should:

  • Arrive 5 minutes early to sign in and pay your co-payment
  • Wear loose-fitting exercise clothes and athletic footwear
  • Bring along any questions you may have about your treatment, your progress, or your exercise technique
