Board Certified in Hand Therapy

A certified hand therapist (CHT) is an occupational therapist or physical therapist who has a minimum of three years of clinical experience. They also have advanced training in hand therapy consisting of more than 4,000 clinical hours and board certification testing by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission

Because of changes in the profession, every CHT is required to demonstrate continued professional development and competency by recertifying every five years. Additionally, our CHTs add certifications to their skill sets through ongoing education. They are committed to remaining current on the latest research and advancements, ensuring that we are using the most up-to-date techniques.
