KORT is Kentucky's premier provider of outpatient physical and occupational therapy specializing in orthopedics, sports and industrial medicine. Since 1987, KORT has provided clinical and customer service excellence to patients in our centers, at employer sites and with high school, college and professional sports teams.

In addition to treating a variety of general outpatient orthopedic diagnoses, we also offer electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction studies (NCS) and musculoskeletal ultrasound to aid in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of our patients.

We are also pleased to offer patients access to our specialized CoreVia Pelvic Health program. CoreVia provides care - and relief - to men, women and children who experience pelvic floor dysfunction. Our highly skilled pelvic health physical therapists will help you feel your best.

Our extended hours offer you the flexibility of before work or after work appointments. With the convenience of same-day or next-day appointments, you can begin your recovery right away. Our Team

Shana Andres, M.S., OTR/L, CHT

Shana is from southern Indiana and earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from Indiana University Southeast (IUS). Shana first came to KORT as a patient when she tore her ACL and meniscus during softball practice at IUS. She later attended Spalding University to receive a master's degree in occupational therapy. Shana's clinical interests include orthopedic injuries and conditions for the upper extremity, specifically of the hand and custom splint fabrication. She is working toward board certification in hand therapy. Shana enjoys spending time camping with her wife, Kim, and their daughter, Drew. They have two dogs, Basil and Diogi, and a beta fish named, Rosie.

Andrew Ford, P.T., DPT

Andrew earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Kentucky and a doctorate in physical therapy from Bellarmine University. His clinical interests are orthopedics and sports-related injuries. Andrew enjoys playing golf and volleyball, working out, spending time with family and friends and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats and Cleveland Browns.

Steven Hnat, P.T., DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

Steven is from southern Indiana and received a doctorate degree in physical therapy from The Ohio State University. He completed Select Medical's orthopedic residency and became board certified in orthopedics. He also completed a clinical fellowship from Regis University in manual physical therapy. He enjoys spending time outside with his wife, Tara, and their three children.

Erin Kitchel, P.T., DPT

Erin is native to southern Indiana and a graduate of Indiana University's physical therapy program. She was introduced to this profession due to multiple injuries sustained as a multi-sport athlete. Through her education she has come to enjoy working with all patients, but especially the geriatric population. In her free time, she loves to play volleyball, hang out with family/friends and root for the Indianapolis Colts and the Purdue Boilermakers. She looks forward to growing her career with the KORT family and playing an active role in helping patients achieve their goals.

Cheyenne Ledford, P.T., DPT

Cheyenne earned her bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Indiana University and her doctorate in physical therapy from Indiana State. She enjoys working with a variety of patient populations with a concentration in pelvic health therapy. In her free time, Cheyenne enjoys watching football, playing volleyball, hiking and camping with her family.

Paul Lonnemann, P.T., DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, MTC

Paul received his bachelor's in physical therapy from U of L and his doctorate of physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine. Paul is board certified in orthopedics (OCS) and manual therapy certified (MTC). He has fellow status with the American academy of orthopedic manual physical therapists (FAAOMPT). Paul lives with his wife, Elaine, also a physical therapist, and four boys in Starlight, Indiana.

Ashley Pait, P.T., DPT

Ashley earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Transylvania University and doctorate in physical therapy from Bellarmine University. In her free time, she enjoys running, kayaking, playing basketball, hanging out with family/friends and participating in a variety of activities with her church community.

Mark Truman, P.T., M.A., FACHE

Mark is a graduate of the University of Louisville physical therapy program. He has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, home health, skilled care, and outpatient orthopedics. His experience includes serving in a variety of healthcare leadership roles prior to joining KORT. Some areas of clinical focus and interest include lower extremity rehabilitation and tendinopathies. He is a long-time resident of New Albany and has been married to his wife, Martha, for over 35 years. They have two grown sons and daughter-in-laws who also live in Floyd County. In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with family, exercising and visiting the beach.

Bricen Walker, ATC

Bricen was born and raised in the military so he doesn't claim a true home town. Walker obtained his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology at The University of Texas at El Paso, followed by his master's degree in athletic training at Bellarmine University. In his spare time, he loves to watch movies and Boston Celtics basketball games.
