Our Team

Emily Hill, P.T., DPT, Center Manager

Emily is from Lebanon, Kentucky. She earned a bachelor's degree from Georgetown College and doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Kentucky. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Kentucky chapter. Her clinical interests range for orthopedics and pediatric conditions to manual therapy. Emily loves crafting, cooking, playing tennis, boating on Lake Cumberland, supporting the Kentucky Wildcats and spending time with family and friends.

Laura Abell, P.T., DPT, OCS

Laura earned a doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Evansville and bachelor's degree at Campbellsville University. Laura has been a member of KORT's team since 2010. She is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist, which she obtained after completing orthopedic residency at KORT in 2011. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Kentucky Physical Therapy Association and the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. Her clinical interests include treatment of orthopedic conditions, with an emphasis on manual therapy. Laura performs instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization and trigger point dry needling as part of her manual therapy techniques. Laura's personal interests include cycling, being outdoors, cooking and spending time with family.
