Our Team

Corey Malone, P.T., DPT, OCS, Center Director

Corey completed his undergraduate degree in health and human performances in 2011 from the University of Louisville and doctorate in physical therapy in 2013 from Bellarmine University. Corey spent two years practicing orthopedic physical therapy in Baltimore before moving back to his hometown of Louisville, KY in 2016. Corey completed an orthopedic residency program from KORT and was board certified in orthopedics in 2018. His clinical interests are in hands-on therapy, sports-related injuries, restoration of cardiovascular fitness and clinical decision-making. Corey enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, running and cycling.

Nick Weickel, P.T., DPT, OCS

Nick received a doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Kentucky and bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Dayton, attaining professional engineering license in the state of Kentucky. Nick has clinical interests in manual therapy and sports injuries. He enjoys pulling for his hometown Louisville Cardinals, running and being outdoors with his wife and son.

Kevin McCabe, PTA

Kevin graduated from the physical therapy assistant program at the Jefferson Community and Technical College. He also attended the University of Louisville where he earned a bachelor's degree in business marketing. Kevin has clinical interests in sports injuries, and enjoys running, cycling and spending time with his wife and daughters.
