    KORT Downtown is conveniently located in the heart of Louisville's Medical Center district in the 210 E. Gray Street Medical Building. Our outpatient clinic specializes in manual therapy in treating spine, neck, and back pain and other orthopedic conditions, orthopedic rehab, sports medicine, and industrial rehab. We also provide athletic trainers for Spalding University and Central High School.

    You'll find a friendly, fun environment focused on a returning you quickly to the activity level you wish to attain. We offer early-morning hours and the convenience of noontime appointments to accommodate your work schedule. We work closely with your physician in coordinating your care to deliver needed services and treatment.

    Free parking (with validation) is available for patients in the 210 E. Gray Street garage below our clinic. Our clinic is spacious and warm and we look forward to helping you on your road to recovery. We welcome walk-in patients.

    Teresa Smith, PT, DPT, Clinic Director
    Teresa Smith
    Teresa graduated with her entry-level master's degree from the University of Kentucky and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Prior to joining KORT, she worked at Cincinnati Children's with the orthopedic and sports medicine team. She is a board certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy, as well as a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). She is a member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science, as well as the American Physical Therapy Association Performing Arts Special Interest Group. She cares for professional dancers at Louisville Ballet Company, as well as students in Louisville Ballet School and local dance studios. She has treated performers traveling with Broadway shows, including Book of Mormon, Flashdance and Newsies. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of Orthopedic Sports Physical Therapy and Journal of Dance Medicine and Science.
    Andrea (Andi) Johnson, PT, OCS
    Andrea (Andi) Johnson
    Andi earned her Bachelor of Physical Therapy from Indiana University in 2002. She is a Board-Certified Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS). She has experience in many areas of PT, including home health and acute care, but predominantly orthopedics. She is certified to provide trigger point dry needling, and FMS/SFMA assessments. She is currently enrolled in a doctorate and fellowship program; pending completion at the end of 2018. Andi enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and working out.
    Patrick Jacobs, PT, DPT, ATC
    Patrick Jacobs
    Patrick graduated from Methodist University earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy, a B.S. in Athletic Training, and a B.A. in Spanish. He is bilingual and worked as a Spanish interpreter prior to attending physical therapy school. His clinical interests include treating patients with vestibular dysfunction and cervical spine pathology. He enjoys football, fishing and playing guitar.
    Kristen Pollock, ATC
    Kristen Pollock
    Kristen is a native of Cincinnati, OH and earned her Bachelor of Science in Allied Medical Professions from The Ohio State University in 2008. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Toledo in 2010. Prior to joining KORT, Kristen worked at Libbey High School in Toledo, OH. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and Kentucky Athletic Trainers' Society. Her professional interests lie in injury prevention, primarily in the lower extremity. Outside of work, Kristen enjoys Ohio State football, traveling, hiking, and being outdoors.
    Kayla Keller, M.ED, LAT, ATC, CES, PES
    Kayla Keller
    Kayla graduated in 2012 with a master's degree in Education of Health & Kinesiology from The University of Texas at Tyler and in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Indiana University. Kayla is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. Prior to joining KORT, Kayla was on the Athletic Training staffs at The University of Texas at Tyler and St. Vincent Sports Performance. Kayla is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association as well as Kentucky & Indiana Athletic Trainers' Societies. Kayla has worked with various levels of athletics and most enjoys manual therapy. Outside of work, she likes to spend her free time traveling, cooking new dishes & weight lifting.
    Erica Ciresi, ATC
    Erica Ciresi
    Erica was born and raised in Louisville. She graduated from Murray State University in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training. Erica has an interest in Kinesio Taping and is certified in Functional Movement Screens. When she's not working, Erica enjoys spending time with her family, watching sports and cooking.
