    KORT Elizabethtown Physical Therapy is conveniently located on the corner of Westport Road and Cardinal Drive near the hospital. We offer treatment for various conditions including orthopedic injuries (including all joints and spinal conditions), sports medicine, balance retraining, and fall prevention. Specialty programs include aquatic therapy, work conditioning, Functional Movement Systems, FCEs, Dry Needling, and vestibular rehab.     Deric Parrish, PT, DPT, Clinic Director
    Deric Parrish
    Deric joined our team in 2012. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Bellarmine University in 2011 after earning a Bachelor of Health Science degree from Bellarmine University in 2009. Deric's clinical interests include a variety of injuries in the adolescent and youth population, aquatic therapy, orthopedics, and manual therapy of the spine, shoulder and knee. He has completed training in SFMA evaluations, manual therapy of the upper quarter, Functional Movement Screens (FMS), Dry Needling, and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM).
    Melissa Hawkins, PT, DPT
    Melissa Hawkins
    Melissa joined our team in 2009. Melissa earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Bellarmine University after earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University. Her clinical interests include orthopedics and manual therapy of the spine and shoulder. In addition Melissa is certified in Vestibular rehabilitation and SFMA evaluations.
    Jacob Hughes, PT, DPT
    Jacob Hughes
    Jacob earned his degree from the University of Kentucky in August of 2016. Clinically, he is highly interested in a variety of orthopedic conditions ranging from sports related injuries to low back pain. Jacob grew up just outside of Elizabethtown and is excited to move back to serve those in his hometown community. He enjoys spending his free time doing anything outdoors, relaxing with family, and cheering for the Wildcats!
    Kristi Taylor, PTA
    Kristi Taylor
    Kristi graduated from West Kentucky Community and Technical College in December 2012 with an Associate degree in Applied Science. Kristi has been with KORT since 2008. She enjoys working with a variety of orthopedic patients, particularly lower extremity injuries. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as the Kentucky Physical Therapy Association. Kristi is IASTM certified. In her spare time, Kristi enjoys working out, playing softball and volleyball, and watching UK sports.
