    KORT English Station is located on Shelbyville Road in the Middletown Station Shopping Center (on Shelbyville Road in front of Walmart and Target).  Our evidence based physical therapy practice includes sport medicine, orthopedics, and vestibular rehabilitation. Our practice is focused on the whole patient and we are pleased to offer the POWR (Personalized Orthopedic Weight Reduction program) for those patients that are appropriate.  We have specialty training in the management of patients with fibromyalgia and pediatrics. We provide a friendly, fun environment, focused on returning you quickly to the activity level you wish to attain.

    Regina Durbin, PT
    Regina Durbin
    Regina has over 25 years of experience as a physical therapist. She has a strong manual therapy background, with interests in orthopedics, at all levels, but especially in shoulder, spine and feet. She has over 20 years experience with orthotic fabrication. She has been the primary physical therapist with the Louisville Ballet Company since 2005. She has extensive experience in job analysis and industrial medicine for the injured worker.
    Chris Distler, PT, DPT, OCS
    Chris Distler
    Chris is a Louisville native. He completed his undergraduate degree and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Kentucky. Chris completed an orthopedic residency program and is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, while also being a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Kentucky Physical Therapy Association. His clinical interests include general orthopedic injuries and disorders, manual therapy, and helping patients meet their goals for recovery. In his free time, Chris enjoys running, playing soccer, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
    Adam Clark, PT, DPT
    Adam Clark
    Adam graduated in 2017 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Central Michigan University. He attained a B.S. of Kinesiology from Michigan State University while working for Tom Izzo and the Men's Basketball team. His clinical interest include orthopedics, return to sport, and gait/running analysis. Adam enjoys triathlons, weight lifting, basketball, and hiking.
    Joshua Bynum, DPT
    Joshua Bynum
    Joshua earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Bellarmine University. Prior to that, he attended Saint Joseph’s College where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in health therapy while competing on the varsity baseball team for four years. Josh is a Louisville native who, outside of physical therapy, enjoys golfing as well as competing on various recreational sports teams with his friends. His clinical interests include orthopedics, manual therapy, and gait training in patients with an amputation.
    Mark Clevenger, PT, DPT, CSCS
    Mark Clevenger
    Mark is a Louisville native who completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. He attained his B.S. in kinesiology from DePauw University while competing on the varsity football team. He enjoys competing and coaching in Powerlifting, Strongman, and Olympic Weightlifting. His clinical interest include orthopedics and return to sport.
    Jennifer Pruitt, PTA
    Jennifer Pruitt
    Jennifer graduated from Jefferson Community and Technical College in 2015 also holds a Master of Education and spent several years in education before choosing to become a PTA. Her clinical interests include sports medicine, orthopedics, and manual therapy techniques. She enjoys assisting people as they achieve their rehabilitation goals are return to their previous activities. Jennifer enjoys reading, traditional needle arts, and playing ice hockey (where she plays as a goalie and forward).
    Kevin Brown, MEd, ATC
    Kevin Brown
    Kevin is a native of Port Huron, MI. He graduated in 2006 with a master's degree in Applied Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota and in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine-Athletic Training from Eastern Michigan University. Prior to joining KORT, Kevin was on the Athletic Training staffs at the University of Louisville, the University of Minnesota, and Coastal Carolina University. He serves on the National Athletic Trainers' Association COPA Performing Arts Workgroup and the Select Medical Dance Medicine Advisory Board. Kevin is currently Vice President of the Performing Arts Athletic Trainers' Society and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, Kentucky Athletic Trainers’ Society, the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science, the Performing Arts Medicine Association, and Kinesio Taping Association International. Kevin has an interest in manual therapy and is certified in Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Kinesio Taping, Rock Tape Functional Movement Techniques, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, and the Functional Movement Screen. He is the 2017 winner of the Kentucky Athletic Trainers' Society Award of Merit. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys reading, supporting the performing arts, watching sports, and trying new restaurants.
    Kate Meyer, MS, ATC
    Kate Meyer
    Kate grew up in St. Louis, MO. She received her bachelor's in Athletic Training from Ball State University in 2007 and her Master of Health Promotion from Oklahoma State University in 2009. While at Oklahoma State, Kate worked as the Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Men's Cross Country and Track teams. Joining KORT in 2009, she was the Athletic Trainer for Valley High School before moving on to Christian Academy, where she has been since February of 2013. Kate serves on the Awards Committee for KATS and as a clinical instructor to the Spalding Athletic Training Program. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two sons and husband, reading, and baking.
    Abbie Ballentine, ATC
    Abbie Ballentine
    Abbie is originally from Springfield, OH. She graduated in 2017 with a master's degree in Recreation and Sport Administration from Western Kentucky University and in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Eastern Kentucky University. Prior to assuming the Head Athletic Trainer position at Eastern High School, Abbie worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for both Eastern High School and Christian Academy of Louisville. Abbie has an interest in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and also concussion management. In her free time outside of work, she enjoys reading, checking out the various thrift and antique stores and spending time at the dog park with her dogs.

    Katherine Hamilton
    Katherine is originally from Plainfield, IL. She received my bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Lewis University. She enjoys being with her family and friends, watching Ohio State football, and being at Wrigley Field.
