    Matt Lee, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT
    Matt Lee
    Matt joined our KORT team in 2003. He is from Dayton, Ohio and holds degrees in physical therapy from the University of Evansville and Regis University. He completed a clinical fellowship from Kaiser Permanente Northern California Fellowship in Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT) and was board certified in orthopedics in 2004. His clinical and research interests are in manual therapy, clinical decision making and residency/fellowship education. He presents nationally on these topics. He enjoys travelling with his wife, spending time with friends and family, and cycling.
    Katie Filiatreau, PT, DPT, OCS
    Katie Filiatreau
    Katie is originally from Fredericktown, KY, and she completed her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at Georgetown College in 2009. She attended the University of Kentucky and obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in August 2012. Her clinical interests are orthopedic and sports physical therapy, as well as manual therapy. In her free time, she enjoys playing sports recreationally and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
    Heather Clark, PT, DPT
    Heather Thomas
    Heather earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky in August 2015 after earning a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Kinesiology also from the University of Kentucky in 2011. Heather is an active member of the APTA with section memberships in both Orthopedics and Neurology, as well as a member of the KPTA. Her clinical interests include general orthopedics, manual therapy and neurology rehab. In her spare time, Heather enjoys being active, playing sports, horse-riding, listening to music, crafting and cheering on the CATS!

    Matt Fitch
    Matt graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2017 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Morehead State University. Matt has clinical interests in orthopedic clinical conditions, sports rehabilitation, manual therapy and neurologic conditions. He has a passion for helping others achieve their goals following life changing injuries with the ultimate goal of returning to what they love. Outside of physical therapy, Matt enjoys bowling, fishing, golfing, spending time with family, and watching his nieces and nephews play sports.

    Carly McArtor
    Carly is originally from Florence, KY. She studied Health Sciences at Eastern Kentucky University and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Bellarmine University. Her clinical interests include manual therapy, orthopedic and neurological physical therapy. In her spare time, she enjoys playing and watching sports, hanging out with her friends and family, and traveling.
    Tara Buckles, PT, DPT
    Tara Buckles
    Tara is originally from Louisville. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at the University of Kentucky in 2015. She continued at UK, graduating with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018. Her clinical interests include orthopedic rehabilitation and balance training. She enjoys a good cup of coffee and in her free time, she enjoys long walks in nature with her husband, Daniel, and cheering for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
    Emily Lanham, PT, DPT
    Emily Lanham
    Emily earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017 from the University of Kentucky. She also earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from UK. Her clinical interests include orthopedic rehabilitation, manual therapy and aquatic physical therapy. Emily began practicing in Denver and recently moved back to Lexington to be closer to family. She grew up in Villa Hills, KY, and has two sisters, including an identical twin. Emily enjoys running, hiking, watching the Wildcats and Bengals, and playing with her cat, Gracie.
    Chelsey Switzer, ATC
    Chelsey Switzer
    Chelsey is a native to Cynthiana, Kentucky. She graduated in 2013 from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training and a minor in Exercise Science. Throughout her career, she has experience with a wide range of sports at the high school and collegiate levels. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Kentucky Athletic Trainers’ Society, and the Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Association. She enjoys being a preceptor to future athletic trainers. When she is not working she enjoys reading, shopping, traveling, and spending time with her family, boyfriend, and dog Maximus.
    Dean Geary, MS, LAT, ATC
    Dean Geary
    Dean has been the Head Athletic Trainer at Jessamine County/West Jessamine High School since 1988. Until 2016, he was also a full-time teacher at WJHS. During his tenure, Dean also served as Athletic Director. Upon his retirement from teaching, Dean joined the KORT Sports Medicine team and remains Head Athletic Trainer at WJHS. Originally from Louisville, Dean did his undergraduate work at Western Kentucky University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Health and Safety with a minor in Athletic Training. Dean also served for 2 years as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Kentucky and earned his Master of Science degree while there. Prior to WJHS, Dean served as an Athletic Trainer at Centre College and for the Kentucky Trackers semi-pro football team. He has worked numerous sports camps throughout the region. A certified EMT, Dean has volunteered his time on the Jessamine County Rescue Squad, Danville/Boyle County Rescue Squad and the Junction City Rescue Squad. During his career Dean has received several professional awards. He has twice received the Kentucky Athletic Trainers Society Award of Merit (1995 & 2010), the KATS High School Athletic Trainer of the Year Award (2004) and the Southeast Athletic Trainers Association High School Athletic Trainer of the Year Award (1997). In 2016, Dean received the KATS highest honor by being inducted as the 13th member of the KATS Hall of Fame. Dean currently serves as Chairman of the State Advisory Council on Athletic Trainers to the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure, the Assistant Medical Coordinator for the Bluegrass State Games and secretary of the KHSAA 12th Region Policy Board. Dean previously served as the treasurer for the Kentucky Athletic Trainer Society for 18 years, chairman of the 12th Region Policy Board and treasurer of the 12th Region Athletic Directors Association.
