KORT Physical Therapy - Tates Creek is conveniently located in the Tates Creek Centre shopping center on the corner of Man O' War Boulevard and Tates Creek Road. Our center offers convenient parking with plenty of availability.

Our Team

Tricia S. Brown, P.T., DPT, OCS, STC, Center Director

Tricia is the center director and a graduate of East Tennessee State University and the University of St. Augustine. She received sports therapy certification from The University of St. Augustine in 2006 and orthopedic certified specialist certification in 2010. She has more than 19 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy. Tricia received ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation certification in 2017 and enjoys helping cancer survivors and those currently in the fight to live their best lives. She has special interests in sports-specific care and rehabilitation, general orthopedics, manual therapy, trigger point dry needling and the treatment of cervical pain and headaches. She loves hiking, playing music and sports and spending time with her husband and three kids.

Sydney R. Moore, P.T., DPT, OCS, COMT

Sydney is a 2015 graduate of the University of Kentucky doctorate of physical therapy program and received her bachelor's degree from Morehead State University. A native of Flemingsburg, Sydney became a certified orthopedic manual therapist (COMT) in 2018 and followed with her specialization as an orthopedic certified specialist in 2019. Her special interests include treating athletes and veterans, manual therapy, dry needling and general orthopedics. In her free time, Sydney enjoys traveling, hiking, watching the Kentucky Wildcats and spending time with her husband and twin daughters.

Gary Kail, P.T., DPT, ATC

Gary graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2022 with a doctorate in physical therapy and received his bachelor's in athletic training from Eastern Kentucky University in 2017. Gary practiced as an athletic trainer with KORT. His clinical interests include treating sports injuries, neck pain, low-back pain and manual therapy. He enjoys watching movies, cheering on the Chicago Cubs and spending time with his wife and dog.

Audrey Hulette, P.T., DPT

Audrey earned a doctorate in physical therapy in 2023 and a bachelor's in human health sciences in 2020, both from the University of Kentucky. Her clinical interests include treating orthopedic and neurological conditions. She enjoys travel, spending time outside with her dog and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats.

Joe Faulkner, P.T., DPT

Joe graduated from the Lincoln Memorial University in 2024 with a doctorate in physical therapy and Lincoln Memorial University in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science/kinesiology and a minor in strength and conditioning. While attending LMU for his bachelor's degree, Joe played five years of NCAA Division 2 baseball.

His clinical interest include treating sports injuries, neck pain, low back pain, manual therapy and neurological conditions.

He enjoys watching movies, cheering on the Tennessee Vols, spending time on the golf course and thrifting with his fiancé on the weekends.

Kai Blankenship, PTA

Kai graduated from Shawnee State University in 2020 with her physical therapist assistant degree. She also has a bachelor's degree in political science and a minor in dance, which she received after multiple injuries as a professional ballerina in Budapest, Hungary, and working in the fitness industry.

She enjoys working with dancers, post-operative and orthopedic patients, giving them the strength and confidence they need to return to doing what they love.

Dedicated to managing discomfort and loss of function, OrthoVive Joint Health meets you where you are in your osteoarthritis, or degenerative joint disease, journey, treating the condition and extending the life of your joint. Our therapists can enhance the results of non-surgical treatments and when surgery is needed, serve as your guide and coach maximizing the use of your new joint. Pediatric Therapy

We offer multi-disciplinary pediatric therapy services – physical, occupational, speech therapy – to help children reach developmental milestones and their full potential. Therapy methods are typically given in one-on-one sessions, using play-based activities to gain insight into how a child moves, thinks and expresses themselves. Small group therapy also can be helpful for some children to build social skills and communication. Additional specialized programs, such as feeding therapy, sensory/emotional regulation, toe-walking and torticollis, are also available at select locations. We are committed to providing an exceptional experience that enhances each child's participation in desired family, community and school activities.
