Our Team

Leslie Cheung, P.T., DPT, OCS, Clinic Director

Leslie joined the KORT family in 2005. A University of Kentucky graduate, he earned a doctorate physical therapy in 2008 and is board certified in orthopedics. Leslie's interests include overall health and wellness, emphasis on functional movement patterns, sports-related injuries, manual therapy and vestibular rehabilitation. He enjoys the opportunity to serve in his community.

Maggie Young, P.T., DPT, Cert. DN, Assistant Clinic Director

Maggie earned a bachelor's degree and doctorate in physical therapy at the University of Kentucky. Originally from West Virginia, Maggie came to Kentucky to pole vault for the University of Kentucky women's track and field Team. Maggie's clinical interests include dry needling, manual therapy, spinal manipulation and shoulder rehabilitation. Maggie enjoys working out and spending time with her husband and her English Mastiff, Oscar.

Jordan Redmon, P.T., DPT, WCS

Jordan is originally from Rocky Hill, Connecticut. She completed her undergraduate coursework in exercise physiology and doctorate of physical therapy at University of Kentucky. She enjoys working with a variety of patients and her interests include pelvic floor physical therapy with the CoreVia Pelvic Health program and hippotherapy.

Ryan Smith, P.T., DPT

Ryan joined our KORT team in 2022. He earned a bachelor's degree from Cedarville University and doctorate of physical therapy from Ohio University. His professional interests include post-operative rehabilitation and management of the injured athlete. He enjoys meeting new people, being active outdoors, visiting family, serving at church and supporting his hometown Ohio State Buckeyes.

Laura Howard, P.T., DPT, OCS, COMT

Laura earned a doctorate in physical therapy in 2015 from the University of Kentucky and dual bachelor's degrees in 2012 from Western Kentucky University in biology and religious studies. In 2017, Laura completed KORT's orthopedic residency program and earned board certification in orthopedics. Her clinical interests include hands-on therapy, orthopedic conditions of the shoulder and cervical spine, cancer rehabilitation and sports-related injuries and injury prevention. She is a CrossFit Level-1 Trainer and certified clinical athlete weightlifting coach. She is committed to providing individualized patient care in order to help patients meet their return to activity goals.

Laura Beth Crouch, P.T., DPT

Laura Beth is a Lexington native who loves cheering on her Kentucky Wildcats. She received her bachelor's degree in exercise science and doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Evansville. Laura Beth has a passion for working with patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions helping them return to living life fully. When she's not being a physical therapist, Laura Beth enjoys reading, swimming, eating sweet treats and binge watching the latest TV series.

Dedicated to managing discomfort and loss of function, OrthoVive Joint Health meets you where you are in your osteoarthritis, or degenerative joint disease, journey, treating the condition and extending the life of your joint. Our therapists can enhance the results of non-surgical treatments and when surgery is needed, serve as your guide and coach maximizing the use of your new joint. Pediatric Therapy

We offer multi-disciplinary pediatric therapy services – physical, occupational, speech therapy – to help children reach developmental milestones and their full potential. Therapy methods are typically given in one-on-one sessions, using play-based activities to gain insight into how a child moves, thinks and expresses themselves. Small group therapy also can be helpful for some children to build social skills and communication. Additional specialized programs, such as feeding therapy, sensory/emotional regulation, toe-walking and torticollis, are also available at select locations. We are committed to providing an exceptional experience that enhances each child's participation in desired family, community and school activities.
