Our Team

Colleen Ball, P.T.

Colleen is a graduate of Wayne State University. She and her husband have raised their three children in Nelson County and practiced physical therapy in central Kentucky since 1985. Colleen has been with KORT since 1990 and has experience working in acute care , long-term care, school systems, in-home health and the outpatient environment. Colleen is certified in vestibular rehabilitation and treating those who suffer from dizziness and falls. She also has extensive experience in treating weakness in the geriatric population. She provides mobility evaluations for appropriate mobility devices. She is trained in doing functional mobility screens for athletes and evaluating/treating sports injuries.

Kim Devries, PT

Kim graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1992 and has experience as a physical therapist in a variety of settings. She is a certified IASTM provider. Kim is certified in our KORT POWR (Personalized Orthopedic Weight Reduction) Program, which is a healthy lifestyle program designed to help improve quality of life and reduce weight and pain associated with being overweight. She and her husband, John, have four children and are very active in their hometown of Brandenburg. An avid runner, Kim enjoys promoting healthy lifestyles, and helping her patients return to their highest level of health and ability.

Meg King, P.T.

Meg graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1991 and has had several years of experience as a physical therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting. She and her husband, Kyle, have four children and are active in their hometown of Brandenburg. She has worked at KORT in Brandenburg since 2005. She is certified in the POWR program and works on preventive injury programs with local sport teams. Meg serves on the Board of Directors for the Meade Activity Center. She enjoys swimming, running and being involved in the community and St John's Church.

Roger Behrman, PT, DPT

Roger is originally from Columbus, Indiana. He received his master's in Physical Therapy from the U.S. Army-Baylor University Program in Physical Therapy in San Antonio, Texas in 1992 and his Doctoral degree from Baylor University in 2008. Roger served as a Physical Therapist in the Army for 21 years and have been performing EMGs since 1996 receiving his board certification in 2006. He is certified in Dry Needling. Roger retired from the Army in 2011 and has been working for KORT since then. Roger specializes in Orthopedics and Manual Therapy. In his free time, he likes to travel, go camping, hiking, and snow skiing.

Joselyn Smeltzer, PTA

Joselyn received a bachelor's degree in exercise science in 2018 from Purdue University and a physical therapy assistant degree in 2021 from Ivy Tech. She has a background in dance and personal training. She has a passion for helping people and learning about the body. She enjoys volunteering at her church, hiking and having cooking competitions with her husband.
