Our Team

Kandace J. Burton, P.T., DPT, Center Director

Kandace received a doctorate of physical therapy from Briar Cliff University and bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Iowa. She has practiced physical therapy in Colorado, Virginia and Washington D.C. Kandace frequently attends continuing education workshops and courses to increase her knowledge and best serve patients. She practices dry needling, blood flow restriction training, kinesio taping and various other techniques. She has extensive experience with fitness athletes and runners. Kandace spends time traveling and being active with family. She's been to several developing countries to practice physical therapy and increase the quality of life of people around the world. She's also an avid reader.

Kim Devries, P.T.

Kim graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1992 and has experience as a physical therapist in a variety of settings. She is a certified instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization provider. She and her husband have four children and are active in their hometown of Brandenburg. An avid runner, Kim enjoys promoting healthy lifestyles and helping patients return to their highest level of health and ability.

Roger Behrman, P.T., DPT

Roger is originally from Columbus, Indiana. He received a master's degree in physical therapy from the U.S. Army-Baylor University Program in Physical Therapy in 1992 and doctorate degree from Baylor University in 2008. Roger served as a physical therapist in the Army for 21 years and have been performing EMGs since 1996 receiving board certification in 2006. He is certified in dry needling. Roger retired from the Army in 2011 and has been working for KORT since . Roger specializes in orthopedics and manual therapy. He likes to travel, go camping, hiking and snow skiing.

Renee Pariseau, PTA

Renee has been a certified physical therapist assistant since 2015 after earning an associates degree from South University. She has worked in sub-acute and outpatient settings, providing for a wide array of clinical experience. She has a particular interest in coupling manual therapy techniques with rehabilitative and correct exercises to improve patient treatment outcomes. Renee lives with her husband on Fort Knox and enjoys bike rides and outdoor recreational activities.

Hand Therapy

Our certified hand therapists (CHT) provide comprehensive and industry-leading treatment for hand, wrist, arm, elbow and shoulder injuries or conditions. Our team will work with you to create an individualized program to return you to work, life and athletics as soon as possible.

Pediatric Therapy

We offer multi-disciplinary pediatric therapy services – physical, occupational, speech and applied behavioral analysis (ABA) therapy – to help children reach developmental milestones and their full potential. Therapy methods are typically given in one-on-one sessions, using play-based activities to gain insight into how a child moves, thinks and expresses themselves. Small group therapy also can be helpful for some children to build social skills and communication. Additional specialized programs, such as feeding therapy, sensory/emotional regulation, toe-walking and torticollis, are also available at select locations. We are committed to providing an exceptional experience that enhances each child's participation in desired family, community and school activities.
