KORT Georgetown is located on Highway 460 (Paris Pike), just north of the intersection with Highway 62 and directly across from Southern States. We offer orthopedic physical therapy with a strong emphasis on hands-on care, functional activity restoration and individualized treatment.

Our proven techniques benefit a wide range of individuals suffering from injuries or pain associated with work, auto accident, back and neck or peripheral joint problems (involving the shoulder, elbow, hand, hip, knee, foot and ankle), dizziness and sports injuries.

Our Team

Chad Thompson, P.T., DPT, OCS, Center Director

Chad earned a doctorate in physical therapy from Regis University. He is an orthopedic certified specialist by The American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He is also certified to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations helping patients establish their return to work capabilities. Chad is a certified augmented soft tissue mobilization) provider. He enjoys treating a variety of operative and non-operative orthopedic conditions. Chad is a resident of Georgetown and a member of the Chamber of Commerce. He enjoys spending time with family, hunting and fishing.

Brittney Santella Forte, P.T., DPT, Assistant Center Director

Brittney received an undergraduate degree in kinesiology in 2014 and doctorate of physical therapy in 2019 from the University of Kentucky. Her clinical interests are working with patients with orthopedic injuries, operative and non-operative. Brittney enjoys helping people achieve their goals and return to doing the things they enjoy. She is from Maui, Hawaii and enjoys hiking, playing sports, spending time with family and traveling.

Kyle Rahschulte, P.T., DPT

Kyle received his bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Northern Kentucky University and his doctorate of physical therapy from Mount St. Joseph University. Kyle began working at KORT Georgetown in 2022 and enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions. In his free time, Kyle enjoys hanging out with friends and family, watching sports, hunting, fishing and all things outdoors.

Stephanie Darnell, P.T.

Stephanie received her master's degree in physical therapy from University of Kentucky in 1997. Stephanie joined our KORT Georgetown Team in 2010 and she enjoys working one-on-one with patients to get them back to the things they enjoy doing. Her clinical interest include treating athletic injuries, runners and triathletes. She is passionate about vestibular rehab and balance disorders.

Anita Nolen, OTR/L

Anita received a graduate degree from EKU in 2007 with a background in human services and counseling. Her clinical background includes more than 10 years of experience in acute care, outpatient programs and home health with focus on CVA, joints, pulmonary and general rehabilitation. Anita's passion is with pelvic health and women's health. She is the pelvic health therapist at the Georgetown center. Anita is dedicated to helping individuals perform necessary and enjoyable daily activities for quality of life. She enjoys spending time with family, sports, reading and cooking.

Jason irvin, PTA

Jason graduated from Jefferson Community and Technical College with a physical therapist assistant degree in May 2023 and began working at KORT Georgetown shortly after. He was a full-time personal trainer for six years beforehand. His experience as a trainer developed a clinical interest in treating shoulders, knees and sports medicine.

Mark Hopkins, M.S., OTR/L

Mark received a bachelor's degree in physical education in 2017 and master's degree in occupational therapy in 2020 from Eastern Kentucky University. His professional interests include fabricating custom orthotics and upper extremity post-operative and non-operative rehabilitation. He is passionate about teaching patients how to become more independent and improving their quality of life.

Jared Clark, PTA

Jared graduated from Paducah Community College with a degree in physical therapist assistant (PTA). He has been practicing as a PTA since 1998. His clinical interests include treating hands, feet, elbows and knees. He is also interested in sports medicine and aquatic therapy.
