KORT is Kentucky's premier provider of outpatient physical and occupational therapy specializing in orthopedics, sports and industrial medicine. Since 1987, KORT has provided clinical and customer service excellence to patients in our centers, at employer sites and with high school, college and professional sports teams.

In addition to treating a variety of general outpatient orthopedic diagnoses, we also offer electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction studies (NCS) and musculoskeletal ultrasound to aid in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of our patients.

We are pleased to offer patients access to our specialized CoreVia Pelvic Health program. CoreVia provides care - and relief - to men, women and children who experience pelvic floor dysfunction. Our highly skilled pelvic health physical therapists will help you feel your best.

Our extended hours offer you the flexibility of before work or after work appointments. With the convenience of same-day or next-day appointments, you can begin your recovery right away. Our Team

Chris Hartlage, P.T., DPT, Center Director

Chris is originally from Shepherdsville and graduated from Trinity High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in health science in 2013 and doctorate of physical therapy in 2016 from Bellarmine University. Chris's clinical interests include orthopedic manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation of the shoulder and knee. He has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2013. He enjoys spending time outdoors, playing golf and attending University of Louisville athletic events.

Mike Good, P.T., MPT, ATC

Mike earned a master's degree in physical therapy from the University of Louisville and master's degree in sports medicine from the United States Sports Academy. He is also a certified athletic trainer. Since 2004, he has worked with Bullitt East High School sports teams as their athletic trainer. His clinical interests are orthopedic and sports-related injuries as well as hands-on therapy.

Amber Gilstrap, P.T., DPT

Amber received a bachelor's degree in exercise science in 2017 from University of Cincinnati and doctorate of physical therapy in 2020 from Mount St. Joseph University. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association with clinical interests in orthopedic and balance/fall prevention. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, reading and playing cards.

Stephanie Kim, P.T., DPT

Stephanie received a bachelor's degree in integrative physiology and psychology from University of Colorado at Boulder and a doctorate of physical therapy from Bellarmine University. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association with clinical interest in orthopedic, vestibular and manual therapy. Her hobbies include spending time with family, friends and her dogs, snowboarding and hiking.

Emily Magrum, P.T., DPT

Emily is a graduate of Bellarmine University where she earned a doctorate in physical therapy and bachelor's degree in health sciences. Emily is a graduate of KORT's Clinical Orthopedic Residency program. She is certified as a clinical instructor and to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations, WorkSteps testing and trigger point dry needling. Her clinical interests are orthopedics, sports medicine and post-operative rehabilitation.

Kurt Garr, PTA

Kurt started with KORT in 2007 as a technician. He graduated in 2011 from U of L with a bachelor's in exercise science and from JCTC with a physical therapist assistant degree. Kurt loves being outdoors, playing flag football and spending time with his wife, daughter and three dogs.
