KORT is Kentucky's premier provider of outpatient physical and occupational therapy specializing in orthopedics, sports and industrial medicine. Since 1987, KORT has provided clinical and customer service excellence to patients in our centers, at employer sites, and with high school, college and professional sports teams. Our extended center hours offer you the flexibility of before work or after work appointments. With the convenience of same-day or next-day appointments, you can begin your recovery right away. With more than 70 centers throughout Kentuckiana to serve you, you'll be sure to find one close to your home or office. In addition to treating a variety of general outpatient orthopedic diagnoses, we also offer electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction studies (NCS) and musculoskeletal ultrasound to aid in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of our patients. Hannah Arms, P.T., DPT, Center Director
Hannah has been practicing in the field of physical therapy since 2003. She obtained a doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Kentucky, is dry needling certified and a certified vestibular rehabilitation specialist through the American Institute of Balance. She has extensive experience in treating a multitude of orthopedic conditions throughout the lifespan/continuum. Hannah is certified in augmented soft tissue mobilization and is qualified to perform Functional Movement Assessments. She has been with KORT for more than 1o years and is certified in ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation. She loves to spend time with her husband and three children, focus on health with nutrition and exercise and travel.
Kelsey Froman, P.T., DPT
Kelsey is a 2016 graduate from the University of Kentucky where she obtained a doctorate of physical therapy. Kelsey began working for the KORT Mt. Washington team in 2016. Her clinical interests include orthopedic injuries, geriatric conditions and health and wellness. Kelsey is certified in trigger point dry needling. Kelsey enjoys spending free time with her dog, husband and family. She also enjoys watching and attending UK basketball and football games.
Taylor Horn, P.T., DPT
Taylor is a 2019 graduate of the University of Kentucky with his doctorate in physical therapy. Taylor also earned a master's degree in allied health from Otterbein University and a bachelor of science in human nutrition from the University of Kentucky. Taylor's clinical interests include treating orthopedic, neurological and sports medicine injuries, while aiding patients in return to full function. Despite multiple years spent at UK, Taylor is an avid Louisville Cardinals fan. He enjoys time spent with his friends and family, recreational sports and traveling
Meghan Welle, P.T., DPT
Meghan is a 2020 graduate from the University of Kentucky with her doctorate of physical therapy. In 2016, she earned her undergraduate degree in exercise science from Western Kentucky University. Meghan's clinical interests include treating orthopedic and neurologic conditions, sports medicine and health and wellness. Outside the center, Meghan enjoys spending free time with her family and friends, playing guitar, being outdoors and traveling.
Brandon Samuels, P.T., DPT
Brandon earned a bachelor's degree in human health sciences in 2018 from the University of Kentucky and doctorate of physical therapy in 2021 graduate from Western Kentucky University. Brandon's clinical interest includes treating orthopedic, neurological and sports injuries. Brandon spends his free time with friends and family and watching the Kentucky Wildcats.
Olivia Simpson, M.S., OTR/L
Olivia earned a master's degree in occupational therapy from Eastern Kentucky University in 2020. Shortly after, Olivia joined the KORT team in Mt. Washington. Olivia has a particular interest in orthopedic rehabilitation of the upper extremity, facilitating splints and pediatrics. Olivia is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and enjoys spending time making memories with family, being active and traveling.
Caleb Popp, PTA
Caleb is a 2022 graduate with an associate degree from Ivy Tech's physical therapist assistant program. He joined the KORT team in the summer of 2022. Caleb's clinical interests include treating orthopedic and neurological conditions, as well as treating athletes. Caleb enjoys spending time with his wife, is a strength sports enthusiast and an avid Kettlebell lifter.
Jarrett Mattingly, PTA
Jarrett is a 2023 graduate of the University of Indianapolis with a physical therapist assistant degree. Jarrett earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Morehead State University in 2021. Jarrett's clinical interests include treating orthopedic, neurological and sports injuries with an emphasis on running-related injuries. Jarrett enjoys spending time running, hiking, fishing and hanging out with family and friends. Jarrett is the 2022 Louisville Derby Mini-Marathon Champion.
