KORT is Kentucky's premier provider of outpatient physical and occupational therapy specializing in orthopedics, sports and industrial medicine. Since 1987, KORT has provided clinical and customer service excellence to patients in our clinics, at employer sites, and with high school, college and professional sports teams.

Our extended clinic hours offer you the flexibility of before work or after work appointments. With the convenience of same-day or next-day appointments, you can begin your recovery right away. With over 70 clinics throughout Kentuckiana to serve you, you'll be sure to find one close to your home or office. In addition to treating a variety of general outpatient orthopedic diagnoses, we also offer electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction studies (NCS) and musculoskeletal ultrasound to aid in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of our patients.

Our Team

Brittany Steen, DPT, OCS, COMT, Center Manager

Brittany graduated in 2007 from the University of Kentucky with a master's degree in physical therapy and in 2014 from Arcadia University with a doctorate of physical therapy. In 2021, she became a board certified specialist in orthopedics, expanding her clinical knowledge and continuing dedication to providing evidence-based care. Her clinical interest include orthopedic injury prevention and recovery, sports medicine and hands-on therapy. Brittany is a Spencer County native and lives in the community with her husband and two children. She enjoys volunteering with youth sports, specifically gymnastics, exercising and weight lifting and spending time with family and friends.

Tyler Tackett, P.T., DPT, COMT

Tyler is a physical therapist for KORT Taylorsville. He completed undergraduate school at the University of Kentucky as well as attending UK for physical therapy school. He graduated with his doctorate degree in 2015 prior to joining the team here in Taylorsville. Though originally from Eastern Kentucky (Pike County), Tyler is a resident of Spencer County since 2016. He is married and has three children, two girls and one boy. In his free time, Tyler enjoys playing basketball, football, and baseball. He also enjoys woodworking and building tables and bed frames. Tyler is also active in the community outreach through his church.

Erin Moen, PTA

Erin graduated from Onondaga Community College as a physical therapy assistant in 2012. She earned a bachelor's in science from Northern Arizona. Erin is a military veteran and had several encounters with physical therapy as a patient herself, which is one of the many reasons she chose this career. Erin has worked in a variety of settings including acute rehabilitation inpatient hospitals, outpatient, pediatrics and school-based therapy. She enjoys treating patients of all ages, which brings a vast array of experience to this clinical setting. Erin is passionate about helping every patient reach their goals and feel better. She has received certification in kinesio taping, Graston Technique and the LSVT BIG program.
