Robert's Story

COVID-19

Robert Mustafa was recovering from heart surgery when he started noticing shortness of breath, which rapidly escalated. He tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) and his health began to decline.

When he got home from the hospital, he couldn't even walk in his house. KORT physical therapist, Jon Beougher, P.T., DPT, OCS, began to visit Robert for in-home appointments to rebuild his strength. Jon set goals for Robert at every appointment, working with his breathing and endurance, which are now improving immensely.

"I just feel it's been a really good experience. I wouldn't be where I'm at now if I didn't have the guidance of the nurse and of Jon doing the physical therapy and answering the questions. And I mean that."
